Terms of service

These terms are between AsaanBook and the business using it. If you are booking an appointment as a customer, these do not apply to you — your arrangement is with the business you are booking with.

Last updated 5 September 2026.

What the service is

AsaanBook takes appointments for your business: a booking assistant on your own WhatsApp number, a booking form for your website, and a diary your team manages. We provide the software and run it for you.

What it costs

Rs 2,000 per month, or Rs 1,500 per month billed yearly — nine payments covering twelve months. The first month is free. Prices are in Pakistani Rupees and exclude any tax that applies to you.

We will give at least 30 days' notice before changing the price of an existing subscription.

Your account

  • Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
  • Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.
  • You must have the right to use the WhatsApp number you connect, and to contact the customers whose details you hold.

What you must not do

Use AsaanBook to send unsolicited marketing, to impersonate someone else, to break the law where you operate, or to break WhatsApp's own terms. We may suspend an account doing any of these.

WhatsApp is not ours

This matters and we would rather say it plainly than bury it. The assistant connects to WhatsApp as a linked device on your number. WhatsApp is operated by Meta, its terms are theirs, and they can change how it works or restrict a number without consulting us. We cannot guarantee WhatsApp availability and we do not control it. Your diary, your website booking form and your data are unaffected if a WhatsApp connection drops.

Availability

We aim to keep the service running continuously and we monitor it, but we do not offer a contractual uptime guarantee at this price. Planned maintenance will be announced where we reasonably can.

Your data

The appointment and customer data in your account is yours. We process it to run the service and for nothing else — we do not sell it, share it for advertising, or use it to train anything. See the privacy policy. Businesses in the UK or EU who need a written data processing agreement should ask us for one.

Ending it

You may stop at any time — no notice period and no cancellation fee. See the refund policy for what happens to money already paid. We may end an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, and we will tell you why.

Ask us for an export of your data before you go, or within 30 days after.

Liability

We take correctness seriously — the booking engine is built so that two customers cannot be given the same slot, and it is tested for exactly that. But software has faults, and you should keep your own judgement in the loop. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before it arose, and we are not liable for lost profits or lost business.

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes

We will email account holders before these terms change materially. Continuing to use the service after that means accepting the new terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts of Lahore have jurisdiction — except where you are a consumer somewhere that gives you the right to bring a claim locally, which these terms do not take away.
